Tymienieckiego Project ‘Revival’/ POLAND
This development was located on the site of a former textile factory established in the 1800’s. The developer’s intent was to conserve and revitalize the factory buildings and turn the site into a destination development that attracted festivals, performances and daily community interaction in a mixed-use environment.
The design and branding exercise involved uncovering the history of the textile factory and utilizing some of its unique stories as inspiration for sculptural urban elements, amenities and attractions throughout the common areas.

Insights
We generated a lot of ideas on this project. There was a rich historical canvas to draw from and we wanted to 'weave' that story throughout the development to celebrate it's history but also to re-invigorate the complex with a fresh new energy which would inspire the young creatives that the development intended to draw.
Imagining the development as a Interactive Museum was one of the ways we hoped to showcase the history of the factory. The concept was that guests could utilize their phones to 'see inside' some of the buildings exposing some of the processes and characters that once inhabited the complex (augmented reality).
